What is Cdr file?

Cdr file format, represent drawing or vector image created with vector graphic editor by Corel Corporation, CorelDraw.

Cdr file contains a document with text, shapes, images, lines or effects and are usually used to create documents such as letter, envelopes, postcards, brochures and other types. Cdr file can be saved as template to reuse document layout again.

How to open Cdr file?

CDR Viewer is free for use software tool. This viewer can be used to open/display CorelDRAW image files and gives you and options to convert .cdr file types to other image file formats as .jpg, .gif, .png, .tiff and .bmp. CDR stands for CorelDRAW and this extension is proprietary format used by Corel software. CDR format is not recognized by most image programs and to save to other image formats it needs to be opened in CorelDRAW and then exported in other format. With CDR Viewer there is no need to have installed CorelDRAW to display or convert CDR file formats.
Except viewing and converting CDR file types, CDR Viewer supports resizing of CDR images. CDR file format contains information as vector or geometric images and that contribute to resize (reduce or enlarge) CDR images without losing any quality.

Zoom In/Out
You can zoom in/out both with mouse and with slider control.
Rotate image
Rotating image can be done 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise, just with clicking on arrow toolbars.
Pan image
Pan image with the mouse.
Resize image
On the top toolbar you can see the original image size. The original size can be changed and the image can be resized with inserting new size parameters.
Convert image
Opened CDR (.cdr) image can be converted/saved in other image format as JPEG(.jpg), Bitmap(.bmp), PNG(.png), GIF(.gif) and TIFF(.tiff).
